Man, life has been moving faster than Grande double shot.
I just graduated from seminary in NYC, and the next thing I know, I’m on a plane to a tiny town in western, PA. I then find myself inside an old church called “Ridgeview Bible Church” interviewing for the position as pastor.
The church is dying, with only about twenty five people left, and not a single person under the age of 50. So that’s why they called me. They want someone to bring the church back to life. To rekindle the flames. To appeal to the youth. To put Ridgeview back on the map (or should I say iPhone GPS!!!).
I accepted the position. I could sense the call. It was like that feeling I get whenever I’m listening to Sufjan Stevens. Deep.
So anyway, here I am. There are going to be some big changes made.
